Overview

Rhino was an insect model made in a 3D CAD class to partake in a robot ball game. All teams were tasked with choosing an animal and redesigning a part of it to roll a ball when operated remotely. Our team chose to model a rhino beetle and ironman.

Ideation

We sought to create a model that represented strength and resilience. We chose to model the color and finish after ironman and the structure after a rhino beetle. The remote control was designed after the mandible of a stag beetle.
